Having grown the rail travel market from Hull to London by 10% in the last year, Hull Trains is set to launch its fourth direct return service to London from the start of the new winter timetable on Monday 1 October. The additional service will provide two key extra trains from Monday to Fridays at 10:08 from Hull to London with an additional later return service leaving Kings Cross at 19:33.

The extra services add greater flexibility to the Hull Trains timetable, and is expected to increase still further the rail travel market from Hull to London.

To mark the launch of the fourth service, a special release of four hundred tagged balloons is being performed on the platform before the new service leaves for London on Monday 1 October. The balloons will make their own journeys across the country with a number of prizes being available to people who find the tagged balloons.

New train times for the 4th daily service departures from

Hull to London King's Cross:
Hull 1008, Brough 1021, Selby 1041, Doncaster 1059, Grantham 1139 and Kings Cross 1312.

London King's Cross to Hull:
King’s X 1036, Grantham 1148, Doncaster 1234, Selby 1306 , Brough 1326 and Hull 1344.

ABOUT HULL TRAINS
Hull Trains launched in September 2000 and is providing four direct trains per day from Hull to London King’s Cross and return, five days per week, three direct trains on Saturday and two direct trains in both directions on Sundays. It is planned to achieve a 2 hourly service, as quickly as possible in the future. Journey time is just over three hours. Hull Trains stop at Brough, Selby, Doncaster, Grantham and London King’s Cross. All trains are equipped with the latest facilities for disabled passengers and provide a smooth and comfortable journey to the capital. Snacks are available on all trains.
